Strip Clubs Register Voters, Urge Customers Against Re-electing

It's part of an effort by a trade organization for adult night clubs to defeat President Bush in the fall. They're urging patrons to take their eyes off the forms on stage, at least long enough to fill out a voter registration form and then vote against the president.

In a letter to the owners of nearly 4,000 strip clubs, Michael Ocello of the Association of Club Executives says everything must be done to defeat the president and what's called Bush's "ultra conservative administration." He calls it a matter of survival.

A spokeswoman for the Republican Party admits that strip club owners are not a group the GOP has targeted.
