Rockford Shootings

The first incident took place at the Paradise Lounge. Investigators tell us several men entered the bar but were forced to leave. They returned with 8 more people and a gun. A verbal confrontation ended with shots fired. Two bouncers were shot and taken to SwedishAmerican Hospital with non-life threating injuries. Police say the suspects fled on foot and were last seen headed south on 7th street. They are all described as black males and in their early twenties.

Another early morning shooting landed a local man in police custody. It happened near the "Something 30's Bar" on 15th Avenue. A patrol officer was scanning the area at around 2 am when he heard several shots fired and called for back up. 35 year old Lacollis Hall was arrested at the scene.
