Rockford Man Seriously Injured in Shooting
A Rockford man is in serious condition after he's shot outside a southeast Rockford apartment.

It happened around 6p.m. in the Beacon Hill apartment complex near Cherry Valley.
Police say two men approached the victim outside an apartment building and shot him in either the chest or back. A woman with the victim suffererd minor injuries, but not from a gunshot.
They were both taken to Saint Anthony's hospital. Police are still investigating what motivated the shooting.
Police are still looking for suspects at this time. Two males, one black and one hispanic.

Thats been a drug place for years. Maybe now they'll clean it up, but I doubt it.
