A fire this morning does extensive damage to a strip mall in Beloit. It started about 8 this morning in a strip mall that houses an Asian restaurant, a Check and Go facility and a manicurist. The mall is in front of the Beloit Wal-Mart near I-90.

The fire started inside the nail salon, the store suffered serious damage, heavy smoke was seen pouring out from above the building from over a mile away. The two surrounding businesses suffered significant smoke damage. The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
