An issue senator's are tackling today, making sure our kids are up to speed in math and science compared to students around the world.
The senate just passed a measure that would give an additional 16 billion dollars for math and science programs in schools.
The money would go to classrooms, to train teachers, and to encourage students to take part in advanced placement studies.
