Factory Fire on Rockford's Southwest Side
Rockford Fire Officials are calling the factory fire in the Reed Chatwood Building on Rockford's Southwest side suspicious.

Rockford Fire Officials are calling the factory fire in the Reed Chatwood Building on Rockford's Southwest side suspicious.
Crews were on the scene of the fire near the intersection of S. Main and Montague St. The fire started around 5:00 a.m. on the third floor of the building. Officials say that they are questioning a potential suspect in connection to the fire.
The building was vacant at the time and there were no injuries reported. The Reed Chatwood complex is owned by the City of Rockford and a City Official is on the scene to asses the situation.
