Local Foster Parent Accused of Abusing Children
A Loves Park foster parent will make his first court appearance tomorrow, for allegedly abusing two children.

Walter Hammond, 38, is charged with three counts of Aggravated Battery of a Child, causing permanent disfigurement.
The children involved are between four and 14 years-old.
Winnebago County authorities say they're working hard to make sure things like this don't happen to other kids.
Hammond will be in court at 1:30 tomorrow afternoon. Right now he's being held in the Winnebago County jail on $250,000 bond.
