Storm Spawns Tornadoes Causing Deaths, Damage

The bodies of three people have been pulled from what's left of the Milestone Tap in Utica, about 90 miles southwest of Chicago.

LaSalle County Sheriff Tom Templeton Wednesday morning says cranes are being used to lift off sections of the building. Templeton says another four of five people haven't been found and there's still a chance they'll be found alive.

Authorities aren't yet releasing the IDs of those killed.

Illinois Emergency Management Agency director Bill Burke and Tom Schafer of the Department of Public Health say a total of four people were killed in the storm.

23 News reporter Erica Hurtt and Meteorologist Mark Henderson are in Utica and will have reports at Noon, 5, 6, and 10 on 23 News.
