Rockford Shooting Leaves One Injured
A young girl is shot in her lower back, after police say a gunman opened fire on her Rockford home.

It happened around 6p.m. in the 100 block of 15th Avenue. Police say a bullet went through the door, hitting the juvenile.
She was taken to SwedishAmerican with non-life threatening injuries.

Looks like the mayor's cut backs on public safety are already having an impact on the community; but not in a good way. Maybe we should have another wine tasting or city funded social gathering to discuss the matter; what do you think?
