A semi crashes into a Rockford school bus on its way to an elementary school Tuesday morning.
Police say the semi driver ran a stop sign and broadsided the school bus. Fourteen children were on the bus at the time. Five of them were transported to area hospitals for minor injuries.
The incident has raised concerns about school bus safety and whether seat belts should be on the buses.
Both drivers were also treated and released from area hospitals. The children were all students at Conklin Elementary School.
