Twenty-one-year-old Bradford Brush pleaded guilty Wednesday during a hearing at the Stephenson County Courthouse.
Brush admitted to acting in "a reckless manner" in the death of Leila Hoefer his girlfriend’s daughter.
He was charged in January. A sentencing hearing has been scheduled for May 7.
Brush faces a prison term of up to 14 years.
