67 People Get Tickets for Distracted Driving in April

ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Rockford police handed out nearly 70 tickets last month, many around schools, to people who were breaking the new hands free driving law.

As part of Distracted Driving Month, officers were on the lookout for people who were using their phones while driving. In total officers handed out 67 tickets. Each one will set you back $75.
