Each year hundreds of thousands of women in the states enlarge their breasts using implants but now a medical breakthrough in Japan could make implants a thing of the past.
Researchers are calling it natural breast enlargement, instead of implants, a woman's own body fat is used. The fat is liposuctioned from a thigh or stomach and re-injected into her breasts.
So far, there have been no major complications with the operation. Surgeons predict the procedure will become widespread within a few years but there are a few setbacks, bust gain is limited to 2 cup sizes, it's expensive, and long term side effects are still unknown.
