The lights go out in downtown Rockford for a short time Saturday evening.
The outage happened at around 8 p.m. A two-block radius near the MetroCentre lost power for about two hours. The outage caused the IceHogs game at the MetroCentre had to be delayed.
Fans had to wait around outside for about 45 minutes before the game started up again. Businesses and homes in the area had power back on before 10 p.m.
No word on what the caused the outage.
