Was it all really a hoax?
Police are dismissing a University of Wisconsin student's claim that she was abducted at knifepoint.
Police say Audrey Seiler planned her own disappearance. Seiler told police she'd been kidnapped outside her apartment building, but later changed her story.
The 20-year-old also said her abductor used duct tape, rope and a knife, but officials say videotape shows Seiler buying some of those items herself.
Two witnesses say they saw Seiler walking the streets in Madison during the four days she was presumed missing.
Seiler is telling police she just wanted to be alone.
