Local Teens Making A Difference

Some local high school students are getting a lesson in home remodeling and learning what it means to give back to the community at the same time.

The students are part of the construction class at East High School. Thanks to funding from the Swedish American Medical Foundation they're rehabbing an old eye sore near the hospital.

The teens are completely remodeling the kitchen, including new plumbing, as well as converting an outside deck into a bathroom and laundry room.
