After the severe Labor Day Floods that devastated the stateline, one organization is encouraging all of us to be prepared in case it happens again.
In conjunction with flood safety awareness week the Federal Emergency Management Agency is reminding us that it's not too late to get flood insurance.
FEMA is also encouraging those who do have the insurance to make sure they know what is and what is not covered. Residents who have questions are encouraged to call this number: (800) 427-2419.
