Super Jet Arrives At O'Hare

CHICAGO (AP) -- The world's biggest passenger plane has landed safely at O'Hare International Airport.

The Airbus A-380 is making its first stop in Chicago. It completed its maiden voyage to the United States yesterday, arriving at New York's J-F-K airport, while another demonstration flight landed in Los Angeles.

The flights are a chance for the European company that builds the double-decker jumbo jet to show off the aircraft to potential American buyers.

Workers from several airlines lined a nearby fence to watch the A-380 cruise into O'Hare.

The 239-foot-long plane can seat as many as 550 passengers, and its wings span the length of a football field.
