Fatal Accident in Rock County
Faulty brakes are to blame for a deadly car crash in Rock County this afternoon.

It happened just before two at the intersection of Highways 11 and 213 in Orfordville. Authorities say the driver of a large truck was unable to stop at the intersection when his brakes locked up. He then hit an SUV broadside, killing 72 year old Harris Speich of Orfordville the passenger, his wife, 71 year old Ilene Speich remains at Janesville’s Mercy Hospital. The truck driver was not injured.
