Two bodies have been found in the stateline. One in Rockford and one in Janesville. We begin in Rockford where police say the body of a female was discovered near 7th Street and Railroad Avenue.
This afternoon an employee of Paris Construction on 7th street was moving a barrel. He found what he thought was a part of a human body and immediately called police. Police say the body had been there at least 24 to 48 hours but beyond that it is hard to tell. Both the coroners office and Rockford Police expect to have more information by tomorrow.
Meanwhile in Janesville police say the body of a black male in his 20s or 30s was discovered in Riverside Park. He suffered what they call blunt force trauma and investigators say they're treating this as a homicide case.
