Balloon Boy Hoax
We've been fooled. That's what a Colorado sheriff has to say about the couple who claimed their six-year-old son floated off in a make-shift hot air balloon.

Larimer County Sheriff Jim Alderden says he believes the whole "Balloon Boy" saga is a hoax, and Richard and Mayumi Heene knew their son was hiding in the attic. Alderden says he'll recommend the Heene's be charged with conspiracy, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, making a false report to authorities and attempting to influence a public servant.
"The way that they met and established a relationship was in acting school in Hollywood, so needless to say, they put on a very good show for us and we bought it," says Alderden.
Alderden says he'll be meeting with the FBI and FAA next week to discuss whether federal charges will be filed. Child Protective Services will be investigating the children's well-being.
