Young Voters Interested in Election

Maybe it's because their cool, or it's because one appeared on the David Letterman Show. Whatever it is, it has young voters paying attention.

A new poll shows this year's presidential campaign is bringing in more young adults than four years ago. The vanishing voter project polled people between ages 18 and 30 the week before Super Tuesday.

Half said they had read, seen or heard an election news story within the past day. Four years ago, only a third said that was the case.

The Harvard political scientist who runs the project says war tends to make young adults take more notice of campaigns.
