We may now be able to blame a hormone for teen moodiness.
Researchers now say a hormone produced by the body in response to stress that normally calms adults and young kids increases anxiety in adolescents.
It's called THP and was examined in female mice, now experts think if it has the same effect on people the link may explain how our teens can go from being calm and fine to suddenly angry and emotional.
More research needs to be done before scientists can say the connections a for sure thing.
