In a unique operation doctors use a toe to replace a finger.
Alejandro Hernandez was working in construction when his hand got crushed leaving him with just 2 fingers. Doctors tried to reattach the fingers but it didn't work so instead they tried using his second toe.
The toe was removed from his foot and molded into his hand making a thoe.
Hernandez is calling his new hand a miracle but doctors say it should be around 9 months until he regains full function.
