A Michigan teen-ager is dead and four others injured after a single car accident in DeKalb County Saturday night.
Fifteen-year-old Brandy Hudkins was driving east on Preserve Road when she lost control of the vehicle and hit a utility pole. Hudkins was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her four occupants were also hurt in the accident. Fifteen-year-old Stacy Winslow and 16-year-old Laura Ceray were flown to Rockford Memorial Hospital where they're in serious condition. Fourteen-year-old Tara Egan is at Kishwaukee Community Hospital in fair condition and 16-year-old Byron Kight was treated and released.
Kight is charged with permitting an unauthorized person to drive.
