Flight E-mails

CHICAGO (AP) -- Travelers at Chicago's two airports can now get the most up-to-date flight times e-mailed to them.

Officials from the Chicago Department of Aviation say the new service will be accessible to anyone who has an e-mail capable device like a cell phone, laptop or handheld computer.

It works like this -- travelers to either O'Hare International Airport or Midway Airport should send an e-mail to the airport with the flight number, departure or arrival time, airline and airport location.

Within minutes, an e-mail will be sent back with the flight time status.

Aviation Commissioner Nuria Fernandez says travelers usually are on-the-go for most of the day and not always able to call and check flight times.
