The recording industry isn't done cracking down on computer users who illegally distribute songs over the Internet.

It's filed 531 more lawsuits. The defendants are customers of five Internet providers based in Atlanta; Philadelphia; Orlando, Florida and Trenton, New Jersey.

Right now, lawyers for the music industry only know the defendants by a number that identifies their computer. They say they'll work through the courts to find out who they are and where they live.

Last month, the Recording Industry Association of America filed 532 suits against customers of Internet providers based in Washington and New York.

The association's president, Cary Sherman, says the industry is sending "a clear message" that illegally downloading music "can have consequences."
