A 52 year old Rockford man dies in a motorcycle accident over the weekend.

A 52 year old Rockford man dies in a motorcycle accident early over the weekend.
It happened near the intersection of Trask Bridge and Goeke Roads. The Winnebago County Sheriff's Office said the accident occured about 10:39 a.m. Sunday when 52 year old Steve Blodgettand and a car carrying two elderly people collided.
Blodgett was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. An autopsy will be done Monday afternoon.
