Former BakeLine Employees Get Employment Help

When BakeLine group filed for chapter seven bankruptcy in mid January about 270 of its employees were left out of work.

On January 12, two south Beloit plants closed its doors. Tuesday, one program may help new doors open for those unemployed workers.

The Rock Valley College dislocated worker program held a free orientation session to help people find meaningful employment. About 75 of those who formally worked at BakeLine showed up.

BakeLine employees have not yet been paid for their last week of work.
