Nancy Reagan commemorated her husband's birthday by laying a cornerstone at the Reagan Library Friday.

Friday marked the 93rd birthday of Ronald Reagan, who is battling Alzheimer's disease.

The ceremony at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum took place at the new Air Force One pavilion. The presidential plane that carried Reagan across the country will be on display when the exhibit opens in 2005.

After the cornerstone unveiling, visitors to the museum celebrated by eating free birthday cake and signing birthday cards for the president.
