Two teenagers were shot around 10:30 Monday morning at Ballou High School in southeast Washington. One of them, an 18-year-old, has a minor leg wound. The other, who's 16, has died from a chest wound.
It's not clear what led to the shootings. The high school has been the scene of other trouble in recent months.
The school was closed for a month after a student splattered toxic mercury in various areas of the building.
