In the past two days, ten new cases of the rash have been reported at Carl Sanburg School and there's one new case at Lincoln-Douglas in Freeport.
The rash is not believed to be serious or highly contagious. It leads to dry skin and lots of itching.
School nurses are treating the rash with ointments.
