A Machesney Park man dies after losing control of his motorcycle.
It happen around 5:30 p.m. Sunday at 10056 N. Main. Police say 27 year old Eric McClenthen lost control of his mortocycle, drove off the road into a ditch and hit a tree. McClenthen was pronounced dead on the scene. Reports say he was wearing a helmet.
An autopsy and toxicological testing will be done today. Winnebago County Sherrif's Police are still investigating the incident.

It makes me happy to know that one day I will see him in heaven. I never knew him or got to know him, But I wish your family peace from God. If there is anything i can do for you let me know

He was my cousin and yes, he will be missed. Jonathan, that must be rough having to witness that. Just imagining that makes me ill. He's the middle child, one older brother and a younger sister. His family is extremely nice and have lost a great member of their clan. He was a caring person and we have a lot of memories together dating back as far as I can remember. It still doesnt seem real that this has happened...He is being laid to rest this weekend and I hope our grandparents see him kindly in to heaven.
