Two people are dead Wednesday night and two children are in critical condition after their pick up truck flipped over on Interstate 90 near Marengo.
The driver and front seat passenger were pronounced dead at the scene, while two children, ages two and 15, were air lifted to Saint Anthony Medical Center and Swedish American Hospital.
According to state troopers their conditions are reportedly grim. The accident occurred sometime around 6 p.m. Wednesday night, when the pickup truck they were driving blew a tire causing them to loose control of the vehicle and flip over.
Traffic was shut down in both directions as the two younger passengers were airlifted to area hospitals.
Police are still investigating if the victims were wearing their seatbelts or not. Names are being withheld until the family is contacted.
