More soy in school lunches, that's what a new program in Illinois is trying to do, but don't worry kids. That doesn't mean tofu and soy burgers on the menu.
Researchers at the University of Illinois and Southern Illinois plan to work with cooks to put soy into foods kids already like. The goal is to increase nutrition without sacrificing taste.
The Illinois Center for Soyfoods wants to have the program in place across the state within a year.
