Three students at Hononegah High School have been arrested in connection with three different hoaxes over the past month.
All three are juveniles and all three are the ones who made up these false accusations. A senior, 17-year-old Sarah A. Conrad is being charged as an adult for making up a bomb threat on Thursday. She was arrested over the weekend and has since posted a $3500 dollar bond. Conrad could face one to three years in prison.
And two freshmen girls, 14 and 15 years old, are currently behind bars for filing false police reports accusing fellow students of sexually assaulting them in school. These girls could face jail time themselves. Details of the investigation and why the students say they made these false threats are not being released. Rockton police say that all three of these cases were solved over the weekend. And it is a coincidence that they were all solved basically at the same time.
We don't know if any of the students will be expelled from school. District officials say they are trying to determine that now. Two weeks ago another 16-year-old Hononegah student was arrested for making another bomb threat. He was expelled last week.
