A new scam uses the Salvation Army's name to solicit funds over the phone.
The person claims they're from the Salvation Army in Sandusky, Ohio and would like you to donate money, but the Salvation Army never fundraises over the phone or door-to-door.
Sjogren says the scam has already targeted at least four people.
If you receive a phone call for solicitation, the Salvation Army asks that you first call them and check before mailing out money.
