The Supreme Court says banning unlimited soft money donations to political campaigns is constitutional, but U.S. Senate hopeful Jack Ryan says that means some candidates will have an unfair advantage.
Ryan made a stop at 23-WIFR Wednesday. The republican says wealthy candidates will have an unfair advantage. Since it’s so expensive to run a campaign, Ryan says the candidate with the most money will have a better chance of getting his or her message out.
Ryan is running for the seat being vacated by Illinois Senator Peter Fitzgerald.
