Rockford's unemployment rate dropped five tenths of a percent from September to October.
Even more good news is that Congressman Don Manzullo is securing new jobs for Rockford's future.
Manzullo secures another $1.5 million to be used for manufacturing research and development. Add that to the $3.75 million he secured earlier this year. That's over $5 million for the Rockford region.
Manzullo says he foresees many possibilities for the future of northern Illinois and its people.
