A stateline man is fighting for his life after nearly drowning Sunday.
It happened on south harmony road in rural Mount Morris.
Twenty-two-year-old Richard Wilson of sterling was swimming with friends in Lake Ladonna when he disappeared under the water.
Before paramedics got there, the group was able to pull him out and perform CPR.
Wilson was then flown by helicopter to Rockford Memorial Hospital where he's in critical condition
