Rockford Airfest Announces Premiere Act
The premiere act at this year's Rockford Air Fest is expected to be one of the highest classified performances in the world.

The premiere act at this year's Rockford Air Fest is expected to be one of the highest classified performances in the world.
The F-22 Raptor has only come to six cities and will hit Rockford skies this August. It's so classified, it's been seen by less than 100 people living in the Midwest.Rockford officials say the aircraft's performance is a major step above acts in the past, including the Blue Angels and the Thunder Birds.
"The F22 demonstration team is a whole new angle, if you will, to the U.S. military and it will something for people to write in their journals or baby books, it will be impressive," said RFD Director, Bob O'Brien.
Mr. 4Th of July, Joe Marino was chosen as this years honorary chairman, Air Fest will be held August 22nd and the 23rd at the Rockford airport.
