I dont know if they are related to our family because my surname is cardino also. anyway like billing's couple. may there soul R.I.P. Our Deepest sympathy to the families.

Jan, If you want to reduce the chances of violent crime on your in-laws, then make sure they live far away from black areas of town. It is now open season on whites, and black predators are practicing on our elderly. You also have to worry about your kids, because it’s open season on them too. It is open season on them by street thugs, who want to hurt them, and by liberal teachers who want to keep them from learning at a normal pace. About 98% of the black population is very angry, and they want a payback. Their preachers are preaching a mixture of violence, and Christianity. Predators always go after the weak first. This is what we are witnessing in our times. Stay away from places with large numbers of blacks, because it can turn violent fast {remember Wacky Waters?}

This was a merciless but indiscriminate crime. It is grostesque when any crime is committed against the elderly, but this can not be targeted as a racial crime. This was a young black male who committed murder. It was not a massacre. It was a terrible act that should not have happened. When media hightlights crimes committed by blacks it immediately stirs up negative emotions. "Lest we forget," these emotions were not so long ago lived among blacks who witnessed and were primary victims of white crimes. It seems to be that the tides have turned, but innocent are still victimized. Who knows, 20 or more years from now it might be another race or class of people who are the next focus of media prejudice. But for now we should all recognize that all crimes that end in murder or rape or torture or harm to another humanbeing will be judged by the righteous and sentenced by the almight. What this world needs is more of God.

When my wife told me about this crime, I immediately thought about it being a black guy. It’s just something you feel in your bones. Black criminals have been targeting elderly people {mostly old white women} for several years now. The major media has done a great disservice to the community by not reporting the holocaust of black crime on whites and in many cases, Asians. If you don’t believe me, then just do an internet search on black on white crime. Black men rape 100 white women a day in this country. A white family was attacked by 50 black teenagers, and not a word from the major media http://www.ohio.com/news/50172282.html. In Knoxville Tennessee 4 blacks raped tortured, and mutilated a young white couple http://www.wate.com/Global/story.asp?s=6023706. You can spend all day finding crimes against white people by blacks. These crimes never make it past the local news.

What's the address of the murders? My in-laws live in Rockford and are now quite afraid. We are worrying about them and need to know if there is something else we should do.

We know the couple, they are very kind and thoughtful..we cannot fathom the extent of sickness of this person who did the crime. We hope he will pay for this, and hopefully for each night that he will not give up himself, he will not be able to sleep and will be haunted by the thoughts of his massacre, it's heartless what was done truly an inhumane act. To the family of the Cardino's, friends are here for you supporting you through it all. The couple will always be in our memories, they are very wonderful and they may rest in peace..in heaven.

I worked with him for the past 4 years. He will be truly missed I just wont be the same around there without you Rey. I still don't see how someone could do something so senseless than to hurt those 2. The sweetest couple in the world. RIP Rey and Lettie everyone at work will miss you.

This is a shame. What is happening here in rockford..So much violence in past couple of years. every other day theres violent crimes happening here...People need to starting asking why? it is out of control.
