Elderly Couple Found Dead in Janesville Home
Authorities have clues but still trying to determine how and why a Janesville couple died.

Last night (Tuesday, July 7) at approximately 7:30 p.m., deputies from the Rock County Sheriff’s Office, along with the Janesville Police Department and Janesville Fire and EMS, responded to 4421 North Polaris Parkway in the Town of Harmony for a report of two unresponsive adults in the residence.
Upon arrival, deputies and EMS personnel found two adults dead in two separate bedrooms in the residence. There was also a deceased dog located in the residence. Emergency responders found a strong odor of carbon monoxide in the residence according to the police report. A vehicle was located in an attached garage that had been running previously to the deputies’ arrival. The vehicle was not currently running.
The Coroner’s Office will be scheduling autopsies on the deceased who are identified as: 82-year-old Perry D. Carson and
80-year-old Jeanne E. Carson.
The couple were husband and wife and lived at this residence.
