Apartment Building Catches Fire on Rockford's Southeast Side
An apartment fire on Rockford's Southeast side will displace 14 people.

A little after 7:00 a.m. this morning fire crews say flames came through roof of an eight family apartment building at 4520 Trevor Circle near the intersection of Alpine and Samuelson Rd.
Chief Derek Bergsten said the Crews were able to get the fire under control quickly and no one was injured. The Red Cross is assisting those displaced by the fire.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
