Beloit Man Sentenced to Federal Prison
37-year-old Ronnie Newman of Beloit, Wisconsin was sentenced Monday to 46 months in prison.

37-year-old Ronnie Newman of Beloit, Wisconsin was sentenced Monday to 46 months in prison for possessing a firearm as a felon. Newman pleaded guilty to the offense on April 13, 2009.
During a search of Newman's home in Beloit on July 3, 2008, police found a firearm belonging to Newman. Newman has two prior felony drug convictions and is prohibited from possessing firearms under federal law.
