Hononegah High School teachers could head for the picket line now that they've overwhelmingly approved intent to strike.
Since April the teachers union and the school board have been negotiating. One-hundred-eighteen teachers at the high school began the year without a contract. Now they are one step closer to a strike perhaps in October. One of the sticking points is class preparation time. The administration says money is also tight.
The next meeting between the two sides is set for September 29. If nothing comes of that meeting the teachers can call a strike.
