Over 3-thousand Illinois residents may get an early Christmas present in the form of cold hard cash.
The internal revenue service announced today that they have over 2.7 million tax refunds to make to people living in Illinois.
Most refunds are from tax returns filed for 2005, the average check will be 8-hundred dollars.
Tax payers can find out if they have an undelivered refund by visiting the IRS website at www.irs.gov
