The Salvation Army wants our help to feed those who may not be able to eat turkey on this Thanksgiving.
The "36th Annual Food Drive" kicked off today. Local businesses along with area schools will collect non-perishable foods. Leaders of the drive hope these barrels are full like in past years.
Thus far, organizers of the drive have said that Guilford High has driven out the competition. Last year they donated 140 barrels of non-perishable food.
Barrels will be placed at area schools and the donated food will then be passed out during the holidays.
