The woman who ran over a Belvidere toll worker last week faces charges of reckless homicide.
Sara Jimentz claims the brakes in her van failed as she was going through the to l plaza. She struck 47-year-old Howard Collier of Loves Park as he was crossing between tollbooths. He was killed in the accident.
Jimentz is being held at the Boone County jail on $500,000 dollars bond.
