CHICAGO (AP) -- A new poll shows Democrat Rod Blagojevich with a 15 percentage point lead over Republican challenger Judy Baar Topinka in the Illinois governor's race.
The Chicago Tribune/W-G-N T-V poll today shows Blagojevich with the support of 44 percent of voters polled, while 29 percent are backing Topinka.
The poll of 600 likely voters conducted Friday through Sunday. The poll has an error margin of four percentage points.
While Green Party candidate Richard Whitney got 13 percent of voters' support, another 13 percent were undecided.
